Once your project is scheduled, it is time to prepare yourself for what is to come. While your contractor is sure to do all the work, there are still steps you should take to prepare your home.
Maybe you are getting a new roof. In this case, you want to make sure everything around the perimeter of your home is cleared out. For example, don’t leave your car parked in the driveway.
Or maybe you are having new windows installed. In this case, you need to prepare the interior of your home. Are your windows easily accessible? You don’t want furniture and other items in the way. Will you turn off the AC or furnace while the job is being completed? Don’t forget to make this decision.
