GRATITUDE AND SHARING: TOYS AND WARM CLOTHING NEEDED
Dec 24, 2015It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays are almost upon us, but there are many children in Northern Virginia who will not have a gift or warm clothing for the holidays. During this season of giving thanks and sharing, let’s take a look at what some of the local businesses in our area are doing for others and consider a donation or lending a hand.
SPOTLIGHT: THE ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE, FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA)
Each year the Original Pancake House hosts a breakfast on Christmas morning for more than 1,300 homeless and needy people. As is their custom, they hope to provide all of the children with a toy and would like to be able to give out warm clothing to those in need.
This year their donations have fallen short, and they are worried they do not have enough presents for the children. Can you help out? Toys and clothing can be dropped off at the Original Pancake House from 7 a.m. to e p.m. daily at 7395 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. I am sure a cash donation would also be welcomed.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday season.
