Plain and Simple. Our people make all the difference.
TRUSTED TEAM MEMBER SINCE 2010
Patrick has been in the home remodeling and construction industry for over 20 years. His journey began in college running painting crews to help pay for his tuition while attending Virginia Tech. After graduating, he gained experience working for a national homebuilder, a Northern Virginia exterior remodeler and successfully built and sold his own exterior remodeling company. In 2010, the timing was right for him to join forces with Betsy Pond. Together, Betsy and Patrick fine-tuned Pond’s operations to increase the overall quality of our customers’ experience—including extra training for installers and estimators, an updated scheduling system and additional points of communication throughout the Pond production process. In 2012, Patrick bought Pond from Betsy who stayed on as an advisor and to assist with marketing. Patrick has a passion for people and creating personal relationships through every experience he encounters—just ask our thousands of satisfied customers.
Patrick was born and raised in Fairfax and continues to live in the area with his wife and two children. When he’s not working hard to make Pond the best company it can be, he unwinds by fishing, mountain biking and spending time with family and friends.

After over ten years of customer service excellence at Great American Restaurants, Joe turned his focus to making a difference at Pond. While Joe truly embodies all our core values, his relentless pursuit of improvement in all areas is what really sets him apart. He aims to create a consistent experience that will lead to trust, believing whole-heartedly that when a brand earns a customer’s trust, they have formed a solid and meaningful relationship. Joe believes that a great customer experience starts with a proper understanding of the problems a homeowner is trying to solve. Joe works hard to answer any questions a customer may have, diagnose problems and formulate a solution that meets their needs and wants.
In his free time Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys running, biking, and sitting by the pool, but enjoys taking his daughter to the playground the most. If you don’t find Joe working, he is busy being a family man.
Von joined Pond after a successful career as a general contractor, specializing in residential roofing and construction. He has expertise in all types of roofing and general construction practices, which means he’s a pro at diagnosing a sick home. Von’s get-it-done attitude and near-obsessive attention to details make him a huge asset to any homeowner that he has an opportunity to help. When Von is not working or being bossed around by his wife, you can find him coaching soccer or fishing with his three sons.
Nate came to Pond with over 20 years in the home improvement industry. He grew up in the roofing business and is no stranger to the back-breaking work of nailing shingles. Nate brings an honest approach, and his opinion will always take into consideration what’s best for you and your home. He enjoys working with homeowners to provide solutions. His gentle nature and patience comes through when explaining products and options in terms that make sense. Always the family man, Nate spends his off hours catering to his wonderful wife and two daughters. They love to cook together and love to play pranks on each other. Nate’s daughters are some serious volleyball competitors, and the family spends plenty of time traveling to tournaments. Don’t tell him where you heard this, but Nate did such a great job teaching them that now his daughters catch more fish than him every time they go fishing.

TRUSTED TEAM MEMBER SINCE 1993
Minh started as an assistant on a Pond repair crew almost 25 years ago. Today, he heads up our repair department and handles quality assurance for both repairs and replacement installations. Minh is Pond’s resident problem solver. He regularly diagnoses and solves the most stubborn of roofing, siding and window problems. Minh loves the thrill of solving a puzzle so much so that he regularly helps our customers track down water issues—many of which have nothing to do with roofing, siding or windows at all. When Minh isn’t putting his brain power to work for Pond, he’s relaxing and enjoying time with his two daughters.
